The Macleods have run Port Beag (small port) Chalets as a local family business since 1975. There are four six-berth chalets and one four-berth chalet, all with a sea view.
All chalet kitchens are furnished with a fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher and microwave, as well as all the cutlery and kitchen utensils you are likely to require. There is electric heating in every room, and meter cards are available for purchase from the Macleod's house. Smoke alarms and fire blankets are fitted.
All bedding and towels are supplied. A travel cot and high chair are available on request, and babysitting can be arranged. Each chalet has a colour TV and video. There is ample car parking. Pets are welcome but must be supervised at all times. A grocery order can be delivered to await your arrival.
The four-berth chalet has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, kitchen, dining space and lounge. The bathroom has a wash-hand basin, toilet and a full size bath with electric shower.
The six-berth chalets have one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one adult-size bunk bedroom, kitchen, dining space and large lounge. The bathroom has a wash-hand basin, toilet and an electric shower with shower bath, and each bedroom has its own vanity unit.
A local information folder is provided in each chalet. There is a public telephone and a post box beside the Macleod's house.
